Project declaration bringing about compatibility No. 1 with the Local Urban Development Plan for La Balme-de-Thuy

Project to redevelop the Morette memorial site

The project declaration relates to the project to redevelop the Morette memorial site and, in particular, the construction of a new visitor centre dedicated to the memory of the Resistance on the Glières Plateau. The procedure for the project declaration, which entails bringing the Local Urban Development Plan (PLU) of La Balme de Thuy into compliance will aim to take into account the project’s public interest and to adapt the Local Urban Development Plan (PLU) in regulatory terms to reflect the project’s specific characteristics.

Throughout the public consultation period, from Monday 3 November 2025 at 9.00 am to Thursday 4 December 2025 at 7.30 pm, the public may consult the investigation file for the project declaration procedure involving the adaptation of the Local Urban Development Plan (PLU) No. 1, as well as the opinions issued on this project by the associated public bodies (PPA).

• At La Balme de Thuy Town Hall, the venue for the inquiry, 14 Place de la Mairie – 74230 LA BALME DE THUY, on the following days and at the following times:
      - Tuesdays from 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm;
- Thursdays from 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm.

• During the public consultation period, the investigating commissioner will be available to the public at La Balme de Thuy Town Hall to listen to and receive their views, comments, proposals and counter-proposals on the following days and at the following times:
  • Monday 3 November 2025 from 09:00 to 12:00;
         • Tuesday 18 November 2025 from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm;
  • Thursday 4 December 2025 from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
